The community of Pau Amarelo is a group of families near Recife, Brazil.  The  community center is located on the property of Ana Prado, one of the founding members of the community.  Pau Amarelo was organized in order to better serve the surrounding families in the area by providing certain social services.  These services are provided because of the religious affiliations of the leaders.
