Purpose:  The purpose of the Criminal Justice Club is to allow for career exploration.  We will do this by brining a wide variety of guest speakers that work in the criminal justice fields.

Allison Jones guest speaker from Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA).  “MOCSA exists to lessen the ill effects of sexual assault and abuse through prevention, education, intervention, treatment and advocacy.”  Anyone who is going into the field of corrections or social work should come listen to this speaker.  To learn more about MOCSA click here to visit their website.

Kevin Steck from the FBI RCFL

 

Guest speaker from the Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (RCFL).  Kansas City is one of only a few locations in the United States to have a RCFL.  If you are interested in Forensic science or are interested in working with technology, then you should come listen to this guest speaker. 

 

The RCFL “is a one-stop, full service forensics laboratory devoted entirely to the examination of digital evidence in support of criminal investigations”.  To learn more about RCFL click here to visit their website.
